Preparing the CSV File: Precision at Every Step
To get started, download our CSV template file, and populate your food data, ensuring adherence to the specified format for optimal results. It's important to note that nutrition information should be based on a 100-gram measurement.
The CSV template provides a structured layout for inputting essential nutritional values, from calories to vitamins, fats, fiber, and more. Numeric values can include decimals or whole numbers, while unknown values can be left empty. The provided table serves as your guide, detailing each field's purpose and the expected format for accurate food importation. While "Name" is obligatory, other fields, such as "Energy_KCAL," "TotalFat," "TotalProtein," and more, grant you the opportunity to present thorough nutritional insights.

Once your CSV file is primed, head to the Food Data tab and trigger the Import Foods function. A quick upload and a click on "Import Foods" initiate the process. A subsequent notification confirms the successful import, indicating the number of foods integrated, accessible through the Food Data section.
